Maye lets you buy from major US retailers — Amazon, Walmart, Costco, Target and more — and have your order delivered as a gift straight to your recipient's door, anywhere in the United States. You pay in Naira with local payment methods; we handle the US purchase, checkout and delivery on your behalf. Here's exactly what happens after you click pay.
Every item in our catalogue is sourced from a US retail partner. Each listing shows its final price in Naira — product cost, our service fee and US delivery included — so there are no surprises at the end. Looking for something not listed? Send us the retailer's link and we'll add it with a quote.
At checkout you enter the delivery address of the person receiving the gift, along with their contact number and an optional gift message. The parcel ships directly to them, so they get the surprise without you ever being involved in the logistics. Then pay by card or bank transfer — in Naira, through local payment rails. Nothing is charged to any foreign card on your side.
Once your payment is confirmed, we purchase the item from the retailer using our own accounts and infrastructure, and have it shipped to your recipient's US address. If an item goes out of stock or the price moves materially between your order and our purchase, we contact you before proceeding — and you can cancel for a full refund if you'd rather not continue.
As soon as the retailer ships, we pull the carrier tracking (UPS, FedEx, USPS and others) into your order, so you and your recipient can follow every checkpoint until it's marked delivered. You'll be notified at each stage — ordered, shipped, out for delivery, delivered.
In practice most orders arrive in 4–10 business days from payment confirmation. These are estimates, not guarantees — see our Terms of Service for the details.
Exchange rates. Because goods are bought in US dollars, the Naira price can shift between your order and our purchase. If the difference is material, we'll contact you before proceeding — and you can cancel for a full refund if you'd rather not continue.
Gift-ready. Orders go straight to your recipient's address. Add a gift message at checkout and we'll pass it along to the retailer where gifting options are supported.
We can only source items that US retailers ship to addresses within the United States, and we won't purchase anything prohibited by the retailer's terms or applicable law — including certain hazardous materials, weapons, and recalled goods. If your request falls into that category, we'll tell you early and refund anything already paid.
Report damaged, faulty, or incorrect items within 48 hours of delivery with photographs, and we'll refund or replace where the claim is valid. Cancellations are free before we purchase from the retailer — once the order is placed with them, cancellation depends on the retailer's own policy. The full rules are on our Refund Policy page.
